Hi all,

You may have seen March F1 applied for a grid position in 2010. I can confirm that it is the intention of the organization to return to F1.

To do this we need support from as many "March Fans" as possible however big, however small the support all is welcome.

We will return to this forum as often as we can but please do not hesitate to let us know who you are and where you are in the World. Hopefully if all goes to plan you will see the March Brand apppear on a regular basis.

In fact the first March to race in a modern series for many years made the podium on its first attempt at Snetterton in the Duratec Championship so the marque is indeed alive and kicking.

More to follow.

Andrew Fitton is the last person I know of to claim ownership of the March name. Technically, the trademark has been abandoned in the USA, so by virtue of our continuous use of the trademark on this website, for more than a decade, Marchives would probably have the rights to it in the USA. The picture is different in different countries, however. Even when March owned the March trademark and name, it didn't attempt to defend it legally, hence we have the Nissan "March." Check out our "Hall of Shame." And, there are other automotive products sold under the March name including a Michigan manufacturer of lightweight engine pulleys.
